1. Scope


These terms and conditions apply to all orders placed through the Traces of Life online shop. By placing an order, you agree to these terms and conditions.


2. Contracting parties


The purchase agreement is concluded with

3. Offer and conclusion of contract


The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but rather a non-binding online catalog presentation.

By clicking the "Buy now" button, you are placing a binding order for the products contained in the shopping cart.


4. Prices and Payment


All prices are final prices in accordance with § 19 UStG (small business regulation – no VAT shown).

Payment is made using the payment methods offered in the shop.


5th delivery


Shipping is available to Germany and within the EU.

Since these are print-on-demand products , all books are only printed after an order has been received.

Delivery usually takes 7–14 working days.


6. Retention of title


The goods remain our property until full payment is received.


7. Right of withdrawal


Information about your right of withdrawal can be found in our cancellation policy.


8. Exclusion of the right of withdrawal


Products that are manufactured or personalized according to customer specifications are excluded from the right of withdrawal.

Similarly, print-on-demand products (e.g., books that are only printed upon order) are excluded from cancellation once production has begun.


9. Warranty


The statutory warranty rights apply.

10. Liability


Traces of Life is only liable for damages resulting from intentional or grossly negligent conduct.

Traces of Life is only liable for simple negligence in the event of a breach of essential contractual obligations.


11. Dispute Resolution


The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).

We are neither obligated nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.


12. Final Provisions


German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

Should individual provisions of these terms and conditions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
